A Ubisoft website was hacked by an unknown element, with customer data exposed as a result. The company has advised customers to change their passwords as a matter of precaution.

With digital downloads and the costly purchases of games being made online, these kinds of hacks are much worse than they once were, as credit card information is stored online and of clear interest to cyber-criminals.
