As far as IGN is concerned, Venom isn’t a good movie. It doesn’t quite know what it wants to be, and if it wasn’t for Tom Hardy, Venom would be a complete disaster.
As it is Venom is just below average. I’ll probably watch Venom eventually, but it’s no must see at in theaters on day one. Which is a shame.
