Flash mobs are always cool to watch, although I’m not too sure I’d like to be on the receiving end of one. For pupils at a school in Scotland their lunchtime suddenly became more entertaining when the teachers decided to put on a show for the pupils leaving.
It starts with the disco classic Y.M.C.A. before moving onto the Macarena, Thriller and the Time Warp. It closes out with a number from High School Musical. And then everything goes back to normal.
I can’t help thinking this has been done previously at that school because once the music kicked in there seemed to be an expectation that something was about to take place. This is the first time, however, it’s been filmed and put up on YouTube.
Over 300,000 people have watched the clip since it was uploaded at the weekend, and I’m sure that number will rise even higher as the clip worms its way around the Web.
