The writers strike which is affecting movie and television production in Hollywood and beyond is still ongoing, although both parties are now talking to each other at last.
The main parties are the Writers Guild Of America, and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, and they are now sat around a negotiating table, as seen in this video.
Actually, this is obviously a spoof sketch, with writer Seth McFarlane’s skewed version of how the delicate talks process may be going.
It revolves around the concept that the AMPTP are a bunch of puppets, who aren’t really taking the negotiations seriously. It’s funny stuff, although Seth may not have made any friends from it.
