During Christmas Eve Mass, Pope Benedict XVI was knocked down by a woman in St. Peter’s Basilica. It wasn’t caught by any official news stations in America, but as you can see from this clip, the incident was recorded by several of the people attending.
I’m not a Christian, but this is just terrible.
It only took 2 seconds, but this crazy lady dressed in red was able to knock down the pope and a cardinal in front of everyone. The woman has been arrested and authorities have determined that she is mentally unstable.
If anything, this just proves that the pope is still physically fit. The 82-year old Pope continued the service as if nothing happened.
