If you’ve ever been to the South then you know that racism is still alive and kicking. As a resident of the state of Georgia, I’m embarrassed by what the man in this video has done. His Obama T-shirts with a picture of Curious George on them are anything but innocent.
What’s even more appalling is the fact that the shirts are all sold out.
Mike Norman, who is the owner of the bar that distributes the racist shirts, believes that his shirts aren’t racist and even claims that he is giving all the money he makes to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The news anchor, however, isn’t convinced. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” he says.
Even after all the protests forgotten, I’m never going to visit this man’s bar.
