Remember that oil spill in the Gulf Coast that was reported days ago? Until now, the major media hasn’t really made people concerned about the incident (I admit I forgot that it happened) but now that the situation is 5x worse than predicted experts are greatly disturbed.
One even says that the spill “pales in comparison” to the Exxon Valdez spill.
BP is probably going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands. Not only will this spill damage wildlife in hundreds of miles, but it will also contaminate the water for tourist locations. The worst part about this spill, as the correspondent in this clip states, is that we are completely unprepared for such a disaster.
So far the estimated damage in dollars will be over 6 billion- alarmingly more than the original $2 billion budget for the 1991 Exxon Valdez spill.
