SkyNews Video | 66 Inch Water Pipe Bursts in Maryland – Strands People in Cars

22 sec read

A major rescue operation has been underway in Maryland to help people who have been trapped in their cars due to a burst water pipe – the largest water pipe in that county.

While this situation would be difficult at even the best of times, having this occur in the near middle of winter makes the water very cold and thus very dangerous to fall in.

From CNN (as provided by the video description): “Rescuers in boats, helicopters and on foot are helping motorists trapped by water rushing down a street after a water main break in suburban Maryland.”

I hope they all get out safely.
