This is amazing. I’d happily pay money to go and see these guys live, although I’d soon get bored if they only did Michael Jackson covers. How about some Beatles mixed in for good measure?
I was never a big Michael Jackson fan. I think I missed the boat a little and by the time I tried to catch up he’d become a strange man who was the focus of sordid allegations.
However, his music is clearly going to live on for a long time despite his premature death. Mainly because it’s perfect for covers. Then again, I didn’t ever expect to see two cellists covering Smooth Criminal.
I was blown away when I first saw this, and I’ve watched it all the way through several times since. It’s dramatic, it’s fun, it’s beautiful. Not bad for two guys with single instruments covering Michael Jackson.
