This is a (long – ten minutes) video introducing the various features and things available in Sony Online Entertainment’s new family-friendly online video game: Free Realms.
Aimed at children ten and over, Sony hopes to provide an online RPG space without the violence and harshness found in many other massive online player role playing games.
It will be interesting to see how much this takes off. I can understand why it would be a draw to kids, but then again, I haven’t exactly been hearing about masses of parents keeping their children from World of Warcraft.
I guess playing outside in the sun is officially out.
