The Apple iPad presently owns the tablet sector pretty much wholesale. But the competition is not only increasing but improving by the day. Step forward the Sony Tablet S and the Sony Tablet P.
The Sony Tablet S has a large touchscreen and an ergonomic wraparound design that is both brilliant and kooky at the same time. The Sony Tablet P is a split-screen, foldable tablet which you can carry in your pocket.
Like all tablets there are two things that are of the utmost importance: the user interface and the amount of content available. Sony has done well on both counts, although the iPad still probably bests it.
I think Sony has a chance with its pair of Playstation tablets, but price may once again come into play. Amazon is readying an Android tablet that is rumored to be a lot cheaper, so I’m holding out for that, personally.
