Jessica Rose, more commonly known as Lonelygirl15, is now starring in a new MySpace & Warner Bros development titled Sorority Forever.
Judging by the viral push this new web-drama has been given, I’d expect this series to be big in the coming weeks. Really big.
The Huge Hype
Not only is the series hyped up by TheWB.com and produced in collaboration with the creators of Prom Queen, but it’s also the very first show to be on Verizon’s new V Cast WB Channel. Last year, V Cast downloads reached 71 million.
The Story
This time, Jessica plays Julie Gold, a new member of “the hottest sorority on campus” which turns out to have darker secrets than she imagined. Expect episodes to have elements of shows like Gossip Girl and Veronica Mars.
While I was once a fan of the now-defunct show The O.C. I just can’t get over the fact that the acting is sub-par compared to most TV shows. Still, there are an average of 50,000 viewers that think otherwise.
Sorority Forever Trailer
This is the official trailer for the show. When the series is finally done, it will have run a total of 40 webisodes. Catch new episodes every Monday on MySpaceTV at 9AM PST.
