Well, we all know the story of the tortoise and the hare, where the faster animal, the rabbit, was expected to beat the tortoise without much of a contest. Except the twist is the silly rabbit goes and wastes the opportunity by being over confident and lazy.
That is certainly the impression I get from station wagons when I see them. They seem to be way over confident on the road, and look like they prefer a spot under the parking awning than out in the open space… but that doesn’t seem to be what this station wagon was made for.
I’m sure by now you realize that the station wagon wins the race off! But it doesn’t make it any less of a surprise. That is one crazy engine they’ve got hiding under that hood.
Good thing it is hiding or the other cars would have tried harder to win. Now this would be a fun race to watch.
