22 years after the original Space Jam entertained audiences, a sequel has been announced. And it’s called, wait for it… Space Jam 2. Hollywood is so inventive.
Space Jam 2 will star LeBron James in the Michael Jordan role. Which is fitting given how so many people refer to LeBron as the Jordan of the modern era.
Beyond that very little is known. We know Terence Nance is directing Space Jam 2, with Ryan Coogler producing. And we assume Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are involved.
The original Space Jam wasn’t a great movie, but anyone who watched it in the 90s will have a nostalgic regard for it. And will probably watch Space Jam 2 as a result.
