Think God of War meets Resident Evil with a generous helping of blood and guts all over the place and you’ll be on the right lines for Splatterhouse.
Splatterhouse is a long-running series which began as an arcade game in the late-1980s. But the Namco game has been remade; given a proper makeover to bring it up to date with the current generation.
The new Splatterhouse looks pretty damn awesome, but it isn’t one for the faint-hearted. There is blood and gore everywhere, splashing over the screen during every single scene of the game.
In an unfortunate show of bad timing, Splatterhouse is being released the same week as Gran Turismo 5, and PS3 owners only have that title on their minds. Xbox 360 owners, however, can fill their boots.
