This prank is so simple that you wonder why all the people who walk into the apartment block freak out when they catch sight of this Chinese girl wearing a dressing gown.
But the prank is so evocative of scenes from horror films these people have no doubt seen that their instinct takes over and makes them jump out of their skin. Then they realize they’re freaking out over nothing and regain their senses.
What makes this video for me is the way the girl giggles and looks at the camera between victims. She’s clearly enjoying freaking everyone out, which makes her sadistic yet lovable. In a weird kind of way.
