With the theme of power songs, I expected to see the Australian Idols busting out tracks with big chords and even bigger hair. But Stan Walker gave us something even more powerful than Whitesnake with this stunning rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
The power comes from a song about redemption that has truly stood the test of time. It comes from seeing him centered and still. And it comes from that heavenly voice, which is surely a gift from the God he sings to.
Now we’re down to the top three, Stan is my only certainty for a place in the grand finale.
