When David Letterman retires as host of The Late Show, he will be replaced by Stephen Colbert, host of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central.
This makes Rush Limbaugh mad.
I must admit it has taken this news for me to discover the Stephen Colbert who appears on The Colbert Report isn’t a right-wing idiot spouting bile. No one told me he was a character doing an act.
It makes perfect sense that Rush Limbaugh hates Stephen Colbert, as Colbert has been mocking Limbaugh and people of his ilk for many years.
However, the way he describes this as CBS declaring war on traditional American values is so over the top that laughter is the only sensible response.
