British customer service begins and ends with a fake smile and a lackluster, “Thank you.” American customer service begins and ends with a more genuine smile and an enthusiastic, “Have a nice day.”
But this is Indian customer service. And it’s superior in every way.
This video highlights five examples of customer service. These are Indian men who value their jobs and value their customers. Not only will they serve you they will entertain you while they’re at it.
Some of these practices are more about efficiency and routine than anything else, but they’re very impressive feats of timing and accuracy. I’m not sure this is enough to make me want to visit India, but it sure does help.
