Microsoft has unveiled the Surface Pro 3, the latest self-branded tablet it hopes can compete with the Apple iPad.
While the iPad enables users to consume content, Microsoft is aiming the Surface Pro 3 at those people who want to create content as well as consume it.
Microsoft is suggesting the Surface Pro 3 is “the tablet that can replace your laptop.” That’s because it boasts a full copy of Windows rather than a mobile operating system such as iOS or Android.
There is a lot to like about the Surface Pro 3, with a new keyboard cover and kickstand improving its usefulness. Whether that will translate into sales remains to be seen.
