Fireworks are enough to make most of us say “Ooh” and “Aah” in their normal bright-lights-flying-through-the-air form. So imagine the reactions when fireworks are filmed being set off using a GoPro camera and then slowed down.
This video shows exactly that, with various fireworks being let off by some nonchalant guy in a lumberjack shirt. He’s smug but he pulls the look off well enough.
The camera flies around the action, capturing the full 360-degree glory of these bright spectacles. And the slow-motion action is mesmerizing.
This is what GoPro cameras were invented for, and also the reason I love technology, the Internet, and especially YouTube. Oh, and fireworks, naturally.
