Tony Hawk is undoubtedly the most famous skateboarder to have ever lived. He won everything in his long and illustrious career, and even had a video game series named after him.
One of the many things that cemented his legend was his successful 900 during the 1999 X-Games in California. And he’s now attempting to land another 900, 17 years later, at the age of 48.
Hawk manages to land the 900 with ease, albeit after a few painful wipeouts. So that’s a middle-aged man pulling off one of the most difficult tricks, putting younger skateboarders to shame.
This skateboarding legend walks away suggesting this was his last 900, but I wouldn’t bet against him trying it again when he’s 50 or even older.
