Suicide Silence Vocalist Mitch Lucker Dead (Video) | Slaves to Substance (Mantis Dubstep Remix)

29 sec read

Mitch Lucker, the lead singer of Suicide Silence, was killed on Halloween night in California during a motorcycle accident. The news is shocking to most in the metal community.

Here is a tribute video made which features the vocals of the singer remixed by dubstep duo Mantis. The two groups were friends and the final track was never completed and therefore released for free.

I admit to not listening to much metal in the past few years, but Suicide Silence has been described as “modern death metal band for a new generation.” The last time there was a news like this was probably back in 2009 when Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy Sullivan died.

Alcohol hasn’t been ruled out as a determining factor, and because there were no reported witnesses, police urge anyone who might have seen the collision to call (714) 536-5666.
