This video shows Jeremy Jahns looking at the first photos of the cast of characters from the Suicide Squad movie, and assessing how well they’re shaping up.
He’s actually quite positive about most of them, or at least open minded. He’s even OK with the Jared Leto’s interpretation of The Joker, which took a hefty dose of criticism online.
All in all, I tend to agree with Jahns. This is early days for the Suicide Squad movie, so let’s give the cast and crew a chance to actually deliver a solid comic book film.
I’m not keen on The Joker’s green hair though, which feels like a throwback to a former time before Heath Ledger made that character his own. Perhaps that’s the idea.
