I couldn’t live in Los Angeles, purely because of the risk of brush fires eating my home up in flames. Oh, and then there’s the earthquakes. Seriously, why live there?
This video shows the latest fire raging in the San Fernando Valley which has already burned down many properties and forced thousands of residents to leave their homes.
I don’t think I could stand and film a raging blaze in the distance when I knew there was a good chance it would be heading my way very shortly. I think I’d be packing up my belongings and getting the hell out of dodge.
The big problem is the wind, as you can hear on the video. What starts off as a small fire turns in to a huge fire covering thousands of acres because the gusts blow it out of control.
This sort of video makes me happy to be in the UK because we rarely get tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes, or any other natural killers. Otherwise I’d emigrate.
