If you thought George Bush and Sarah Palin were the dumbest American politicians, you may want to meet a new contender. This is Arizona senator, Sylvia Allen.
Sylvia’s the kind of broad who thinks global warming and climate change are simply media buzzwords with no basis in fact. But then again, she’s also the type who thinks that the Earth is 6000 years old.
It’d be easy to suggest that perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue, but no, Sylvia quotes the same bogus statistic twice in this speech. It seems she actually believes it.
Oh boy. And women like Sylvia are in a position of authority? That’s just downright scary.
