Every year, so-called psychic Sylvia Browne gives her so-called psychic predictions concerning the year ahead on The Montel Williams Show. And every year she gets most things wrong.
This video shows her predicting the future of the financial markets, and we all now know what happened there. Except she didn’t seem to see any of it coming, missing most of the big events of 2008.
Apparently the housing market was set to strengthen, tell that to all the people losing their homes. And she missed the rather major happening when major banks collapsed before being bailed out by the Government.
I do believe in an afterlife and even psychics to a certain degree but I’m afraid most of it is showmanship and Browne is no exception. Basically, she says what she wants in the hopes of never being found out.
Unfortunately for her, with YouTube and Web video so prominent these days, that’s getting a lot harder to manage. I think the word is “pwned”.
