Taco Bell Gives Away 10,000 Tacos (Video) | Alaskan Residents Go Crazy Over Viral Stunt

When some residents of Bethel, Alaska wrote to Taco Bell wishing that they had a franchise where they lived (even trying to fake like one was opening), little did they know the company was actually listening- and had a GIANT plan up their sleeve.

I can’t remember the last time a fast-food restaurant did something this cool in a long long time.

What is amazing to me is that the town only has 6,000 people in it- and they had enough food for 10,000! According to Bethel’s former mayor, “You could take two if you wanted, then get back in line and take two more as many times as you wanted.”

Viral marketing? Check. Making an entire town in the middle of nowhere happy? Priceless.
