I’m sure we can all relate to the main character in ‘Take Me Back.’ He’s your average guy who has a boring job and an equally boring social life. Then one day he is kidnapped by a masked vigilante and is stuffed in the trunk of a car.
Not you? Who cares, it makes for a great web series anyways.
The series, which took 16 months to produce, was created by Montreal resident Seth Mendelson. After attending Ryerson film school in Toronto, he met up with director Joe Baron and started filming his first professional series ‘Take Me Back’ in 2006.
Even though this is both Joe and Seth’s first professional attempt, you wouldn’t know it by watching the series. The two describe their past works as “Pretty lousy, [however] this time [we] decided to make something good and put it on the internet.”
Take Me Back: Chapter 1
This is the first episode/chapter of ‘Take Me Back.’ It should be noted that all actors are volunteers and were never paid a dime for all their work in the show. I, for one, am glad that I’m not an actor. New episodes premiere every Monday.
