It’s never a good sign when you haven’t actually heard of a movie until you read it’s coming out on DVD and Blu-ray. But maybe I shouldn’t let that put me off Take Me Home Tonight.
Take Me Home Tonight was apparently released in theaters in March. I must have missed the memo. On July 19 it’s coming out on DVD and Blu-ray. This memo, I got.
The trailer doesn’t grab me in any big way, I must admit. It suggests Take Me Home Tonight is attempting to be Superbad and failing on all counts.
Anna Faris is cute but hardly an A-lister, and I’ve never heard of Topher Grace before. When a movie is officially sold as being “outrageous” I start to worry. And I don’t think I’ll bother seeing if Take Me Home Tonight lives up to the billing.
