There’s a rather worrying trend emerging. Clearly bored of cats, dogs, and goldfish (understandable in respect to the latter), people are increasingly keeping different animals as pets.
Pigs are an increasingly common choice, mainly thanks to the new breed of miniature pigs known ‘Teacup Pigs’.
This video shows one of these tiny pigs chillaxing at home. As you can see, it’s almost completely domesticated, playing with its cuddly toys, investigating its surroundings, and running around the house wagging its tail.
Am I the only one to find this strange? I can categorically state I will never own a pig as a pet, no matter how cute they may be. I’ll stick to my cat, which is independent, clean, and good at chasing off mice and rats.
