Tense Julian Assange Press Conference Video | Wikileaks Founder Leaving Embassy

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has stated he will soon be leaving the Ecuadorian embassy in London, his home for the past two years. Assange didn’t offer any further details, but there are reports he is suffering from ill health.

This video shows the full press conference, during which Assange looked fidgety and sounded unsure of himself.

Assange has been confined to the embassy for two years since applying for asylum. He is facing rape charges in Sweden but fears he will then be extradited to the U.S. to answer questions over endangering national security.

This situation has clearly dragged on too long. Let’s just hope Assange is treated fairly by the United States.
