Local commercials are often unintentionally hilarious. This advertisement for South Carolina clothes store Fashion Shack is up there with the best, or the worst, of them.
It starts off promisingly with some terrible teen acting, and only gets better. Cue the porn-style music paired with creepy male voiceover. I was beginning to wonder exactly what I’d find if I visited the Fashion Shack!
Luckily there’s the terrible footage of girls twirling about wearing their new purchases, with awful Powerpoint style transitions taking us from one scene to the next.
I’d ordinarily suggest that whatever the Fashion Shack paid for their commercial, they spent too much. However with the viral attention the ad’s attracted, perhaps the Fashion Shack invested wisely!
