I know tastes in music change over time, and everyone is entitled to like whatever they want, but some of the modern music is absolute shite.
As is the case with Lil Xan, a rapper who just spits any old nonsense in a microphone, has it put to a beat, and is then branded as one to watch.
This is the music video for Betrayed by Lil Xan, and it’s absolutely terrible. It’s dull, repetitive, and only listenable if you’ve been taking hard drugs for a few hours.
And yet it has racked up 115 million views on YouTube. While actual good songs with depth, meaning, and a tune struggle. I think I’m officially old.
