The developers of NBA 2k15 decided to ask actual basketball players to voice their characters in the game, rather than employing actors in their place.
Unfortunately, they did this without first checking whether those basketball players could read and recite the script. And the results are painful.

While this may have made some gamers cringe, it’s actually rather sad, as it means these basketball players can barely read. So it’s a good job they were good at playing sports.
