Like him or loathe him, when Sacha Baron Cohen creates a film there’s no ignoring him. His latest incarnation is General Alladeen of Wadiya, the evil autocrat star of The Dictator.
This full length trailer sees Baron Cohen’s dictator removed from his beloved Wadiya and transported to New York City. It’s a strange new world where the newly shorn dictator is forced to work a menial job and do his best to blend in.
Baron Cohen’s last film Bruno was panned, so it’ll be interesting to see whether he’s back to his best in The Dictator. We’ll find out when The Dictator hits cinemas around the world in May.
