The Galvatrons “Cassandra” Music Video | Australian Rockers Bringing Back the 80s

24 sec read

It’d be easy to mistake “Cassandra” by Aussie outfit The Galvatrons for a classic 1980s rock anthem. But you’d be wrong; this is the band’s latest single. Who said the 80s were dead?

Everything here is retro, from the Van Halen-esque synthesizers to Johnny Galvatrons performing flair. From his coiffed blond locks to his tight denim duds, he’s every inch the 80s superstar. The band would be easy to poke fun at, if their tunes weren’t so terribly catchy.

And no expense was spared on those massive cubes, which look like they could have comes out of any 80s fantasy flick.

Big hair, big cubes, and big power chords: what’s not to love?
