This is the red band trailer for the new David Fincher version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. In other words the American adaptation of the Steig Larsson novel of the same name.
The quality isn’t great, it’s a little shaky, and it doesn’t show all that much action, but it does give a good indication of the tone of the forthcoming movie.
This is effectively a leaked copy of the trailer, which looks like it’s been filmed on someone’s smartphone at a movie theater. Which is naughty, granted, but does mean we get a sneak preview.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, either a new adaptation of the book or a remake of the Swedish original depending on your point of view, is being released on December 21, so there’s still quite a wait ahead for the fans to endure.
