The invisible rope trick has to be one of the oldest pranks known to man. But there’s a reason it’s still played on innocent victims to this day; because it’s absolute genius. Especially when it’s done this well.
These are just kids but they perform an admirable job fooling passing motorists into believing there is a rope being pulled taut across the road. The vast majority of drivers stop for fear of damaging their car or the kids.
Even more impressive is what happens when a driver decides her knows better and tries to drive through the non-existent rope. The kids then mime to suggest the car is pulling the rope away from them.
Pranks can be very annoying but this one is absolute class. I may not think that if I were the one being pranked but watching it happen on YouTube is entertaining. If I was 20 years younger I’d be out tomorrow trying this.
