The Rapper Nipsey Hussle has died after being shot in Los Angeles. He and two other people were injured in the shooting, and while the other two are in a critical condition, Hussle died in hospital.
Not long before being shot, Hussle tweeted, “Having strong enemies is a blessing”. It isn’t known if this is connected to the shooting, but it would be a major coincidence if not.
The hip-hop community has reacted with a mix of sadness and anger over Hussle’s death, and he was obviously well-respected.
At the time of writing the suspect or suspects are still at large.
