Baby Driver is a stylish movie which uses music and choreography to set the mood. And while it isn’t the best movie in the world, it’s well worth a watch for the cinematography.

Edgar Wright wrote and directed Baby Driver, and worked on the project for two decades. And his early work influenced Baby Driver.

This is the music video for Blue Song by Mint Royale, also directed by Edgar Wright. And even though it’s from 2002, you can see it inspired Baby Driver.

It’s as though this idea was expanded and improved on until it was ready to be the basis for an entire movie. And it worked.
