If you really thought about it for any length of time you’d realize borders are a strange idea. They arbitrarily divide the land up between various countries for no reason.
Most of the time this isn’t a problem, except when one country decides it wants to grab a slice of another country’s land.
But the ownership of Lake Constance is particularly confusing…

The lake belongs to Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. But no one quite knows where the borders lie, and who owns what part of this body of water.
