I’ve never really been a fan of dubstep, a genre of music anyone outside of the U.K. may not even have ever heard of. However, when The Office is given a dubstep remix it’s hard not to love the result.
Dubstep is a genre of music which originated in London a decade ago. Once an underground scene, it has now moved into the mainstream, with even pop acts being influenced by the sound.
I don’t really know why you’d remix clips from The Office, or any other TV show or film for that matter, to dubstep, but I do know it works. For whatever reason.
Seeing Steve Carell and the rest of the cast dancing around to dubstep is a little hypnotic to say the least. And when Ricky Gervais appears at the end it sent me to another dimension.
