HBO has brought Watchmen to the small screen for the first time ever. And this video shows the official trailer for the Watchmen HBO TV show.
The Watchmen show is clearly and unequivocally based on the graphic novel of the same name by Alan Moore rather than the Watchmen movie from 2009.
However, this isn’t a direct retelling of the story. It is instead a series which uses the Watchmen graphic novel as a starting point, with the world being built and populated on top.
After the first episode, HBO’s Watchmen show is getting great reviews from fans and critics alike. Let’s just hope the rest of the series carries on in the same vein.
