I don’t think I’ll ever understand religion in the organized sense of the word. We each have our own beliefs, some include a God figure, and some don’t. But is it really necessary to all align ourselves in little groups and fight over which group is right?
Islamic extremism is obviously a problem, especially when violence is used as a tool to create change. But other religions shouldn’t throw stones when they clearly have their own problems. Christianity is no exception.
This video shows one of those probably-fake preachers who tells people what they want to hear in exchange for oodles of cash, supposedly used for spreading the word but in actuality used for less genuine endeavors.
The people in the video want to feel Jesus inside them and so force themselves to become hysteric on the preacher’s cue. It’s funny to watch but also shocking that anyone can let themselves be manipulated in this way.
