If you, like me, have any inkling of good taste in music then you hate Nickelback with a passion. No, seriously, how can anyone actually choose to listen to that insipid, uninspired, rock ballad nonsense?
If you’re still reading and not spitting feathers at how unfair I’m being then you’ll probably love this cover version of Nickelback’s Photograph as performed by the Bloomington Bros. And if you are spitting feathers then, well, you need to throw out your record collection and start over.
Photograph is my least favorite Nickelback song by a country mile. Yes, it’s even worse than Rockstar. And this spoof cover is kind of how I hear the song already in my head every time I’m unfortunate enough to hear it on the radio.
From the shouty goodness of the singer, to the utter banality of the lyrics as he looks through his photo album, this sums up the song perfectly.
