The Sopranos is one of those shows you either love or hate. Or you could be like me and have never actually seen a full episode. six Seasons and 86 episodes and I missed them all.
Luckily for me and the millions like me, here is a video which recaps the whole run of the show rather nicely – by recounting every single swear word utter on the show during its run. Wow, I’m impressed.
I’m not so much impressed by the swearing, although how they got away with these levels of expletives on American TV remains a mystery. No, I’m more impressed that someone has been through all six seasons and edited together every swear word. That takes patience, skill and the lack of a social life.
Obviously there was more to The Sopranos than out-and-out swearing. There was also violence and a healthy dose of cod psychology. But the chances are if you like what you see here, you’ll love the show. Time to buy it on DVD I think.
