Apple is desperate for you to carry on using Apple Music, its streaming music service that exists as a competitor to Spotify, Pandora, and plenty of others.
So much so that it has paid The Weeknd what must have been an absolute fortune to appear in its latest ad for Apple Music.
Unfortunately, this is one of the worst television commercials I have ever seen, and not a patch on Apple’s usual fare.
For starters there will be a lot of people who don’t know who The Weeknd is. I’m one of them. And then there’s the nonsense idea that changing songs means changing the world around you. It doesn’t.
