The third and final U.S. presidential debate designed to help floating voters decide who they want installed in the White House for the next four years took place last night.

In many ways this debate represented something of a role reversal. Barack Obama went on the offensive, making barbed comments, while Mitt Romney remained defensive at all times, letting the punches slide gently off him.
The majority believe Obama won this debate, making it two out of three for the sitting president, but the fact that Romney won the first debate is seen as more likely to have changed the course of the election.
