I firmly believe each and every one of us has a creative side. Some people express this side of themselves through art, some through writing, some through poetry. And some say it with music.
The problem is that a lot of people just don’t bother trying. So they won’t pick an instrument up and see if they have a God-given talent for playing it. Which is where ToneMatrix comes in, as it’s accessible and available to all.
ToneMatrix is a Web app created by aM Laboratory which allows anyone to create melodies on a repeating synthesizer. It’s simple, with each click of your mouse creating another note, but it’s also very clever and highly addictive.
You can even save your compositions in the form of a series of numbers for playback a a later date. I’ve already wasted a few hours on this app but none of my tunes is as good as the one in the video.
However, the good thing is I can just wipe the slate clean and literally start over.
